During these unprecedented times and times of uncertainty, I think it’s extremely important to come together, serve the community, our neighbors, our industry comrades, and our Acadia family. That’s why, after much careful consideration, we, at Acadia, spearheaded by myself, are happy to do and provide the following.

 

Starting Friday, March 20 at 4 pm until 8 pm, then Tuesdays through Saturdays, Acadia will offer an à la carte carry out menu comprised of some of Acadia’s bar food for curbside pick up. A link will available online tomorrow, or you may call the restaurant starting Friday to place an order.

 

Then, on Saturday starting at 1 pm and going until 3 pm, Acadia will have a free market in back of the restaurant for restaurant industry employees only. There will be proteins, canned goods, dry goods, dairy, produce, etc. We will supply some bags, delis, containers, but we encourage you to bring something to transport your goods back home. We also ask that you take what you need but be considerate of others and leave goods for the next person.

 

Lastly, for our immediate and current Acadia family/staff we are offering a free market grocery day for them on Tuesday at 1 pm. We also plan on paying staff fully one pay period amount, after their last check. We hope this will at least buy some time and alleviate some financial stresses, during these uncertain weeks.

 

We do not know what the future will hold for us or Acadia in its current form. But we promise to do our best to continue to support the industry, employees and our customers to the best of our ability.
